Kaitlyn is a travel writer and guidebook author currently splitting her time between her hometown in Nova Scotia and her adopted home in Istanbul. She has written for a number of international publications across six continents, including Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, BBC Travel, CNN, Forbes, and more.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Irish Studies and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction Writing. Kaitlyn has traveled to over fifty countries and has set foot on all seven continents, but her favorite destination is perched on a lounge chair next to the ocean.
