Delaware Lottery Balls 888 Extends Delaware Lottery

The online gaming company 888 has recently announced that it has extended its partnership with the Delaware Lottery. The company has been providing iGaming facilities to the state since 2013, and it has now extended the contract for a further two years, which will take the partnership through to 2022.

The platform has enabled people across the state to enjoy access to a range of online casino games, including poker gaming. Players have also been able to compete with other players in Nevada and New Jersey via the 888 platform, which has enabled them to enjoy more diversity and excitement when it comes to online gaming.

A Strong Relationship with the Delaware Lottery

An official from 888, Yaniv Sherman, said that the provider has a strong relationship with the Delaware Lottery and that the continued partnership meant that it could carry on providing gamblers with exciting online opportunities. He said:

This contract extension demonstrates the strength of our relationship with the Delaware Lottery as well as the quality of our outstanding technology platform. The State of Delaware has been a pioneer in the developing U.S. iGaming market and we are delighted to further extend our partnership.

With many people still wary about visiting casinos following the three-month break due to COVID-19, many have been turning to online casino gaming. This has enabled them to enjoy their favorite casino games in a safe online environment and from the security of their own homes. It has also provided many people with a form of entertainment during the lockdown.

Sherman said that 888 had already been committed to providing the state with exciting online gaming opportunities for many years. He said that the company was very excited at the prospect of growth potential for the business in what was a rapidly developing market.

With more and more people turning to online casino gaming, 888 can now continue to provide facilities that are very much in demand.

A Valued Partner for the State Lottery

The Director of the Delaware Lottery, Vernon Kirk, also commented on the extension of the partnership. He said that 888 had become a valued partner for the Delaware Lottery, and had been working alongside the state lottery since it launched iGaming through the websites of three casinos in the state.

He added that the poker platform provided by 888 had enabled ‘peer to peer poker liquidity’ with the Multi-State Internet Gaming Association able to provide an enhanced and more exciting experience for players from three different states.

888 was founded back in 1997, and it is based in Gibraltar. One of the oldest online casinos, it became the first exclusively online casino to become licensed in the United States in 2013.

The news comes just shortly after the Delaware Lottery announced its financial results for May. The figures showed that revenue stood at $1.1 million in May, which was the highest revenue level since the start of the year. It represented a revenue increase of 262% compared to the same month last year.
