A Picture of Las Vegas Casinos from Above Bally’s Las Vegas to Be Transformed

It has been reported that Bally’s casino resort in Las Vegas is to be transformed into a Horseshoe casino by Caesars Entertainment.

The move comes more than seven decades after the first Horseshoe casino was opened in the downtown area of Las Vegas. The brand will now enjoy a location on the hugely popular Las Vegas Strip, taking over from the central location that Bally’s has enjoyed for years.

A multimillion-dollar renovation project is planned for the casino, and it will be rebranded as part of this.

Renovations will start in the early part of this year, and it means that the World Series of Poker can return to the Horseshoe after being held at the Rio for more than 12 years. Many are excited about the arrival of the historic casino chain on the vibrant Las Vegas Strip.

A Legendary Brand

One official involved in the project, Jason Gregorec, senior vice president and general manager of the property, said that the brand was a legendary one and that the new location for the Horseshoe was ideal. He said:

The Horseshoe brand is the most legendary brand in gaming. To be able to bring the Horseshoe brand to the Las Vegas Strip at the most iconic intersection of Las Vegas is a perfect fit.

There are already Horseshoe casinos in various states around the country, and the brand has become very well known. Among the states where it has a presence are Iowa, Mississippi and Louisiana.

Talking about Jack Binion, who runs the brand that his father created, Gregorec said that the Horseshoe casino was created for gamblers and players with the best odds and highest limits.

He said that this concept had been embraced at all Horseshoe casinos across the United States and that those who visited the Las Vegas site would be able to enjoy a thrilling experience.

Hotel to Remain Open

It has been confirmed that renovations of the casino itself and other key areas of the resort will begin during the spring. However, hotel rooms will not be part of the project and will therefore remain open for people to book.

There are over 2,800 rooms in total at the resort as well a range of additional facilities. As part of the renovations, there will be a new marquee created there as well as a handful of new restaurants and a number of new ‘experiences’, the details of which have not yet been revealed. The casino floor will also go through changes to make improvements both in terms of aesthetics and atmosphere.

Officials said that the aim was to create a property that boasted elegance and sophistication, which is something that the brand tries to demonstrate in all of its properties.

The aim is for the project to be completed by the end of 2022, and the casino resort will then be fully rebranded and functioning as a Horseshoe resort. However, there may be delays caused by issues with the supply chain, according to Gregorec.
