New Evolution casino studio will be opened in New Jersey New Evolution Casino Studio

The online gambling industry’s most prolific live dealer casino developer, Evolution Gaming, announced on Thursday that they’d launched their second New Jersey live casino studio – making it their fifth US-based studio.

While Evolution have enjoyed a huge presence in the European market, it’s taken a while for them to successfully penetrate the US – although the online gambling company was one of the first to launch live dealer games to players in New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia, and Connecticut.

The company’s first live gaming studio in New Jersey launched back in August 2018 – and their new custom-built studio launched on the 10th November, 2022, after receiving approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

More Choices for Operators

Thanks to the announcement, online gambling operators operating in New Jersey will now be able to offer a larger range of online live casino games to players. These include the software provider’s famed Football Studio – which is described as being the first live “top card” game available in North America.

Jacob Claesson, the chief executive officer in North America for Evolution Gaming, said:

This is another exciting landmark for our operations in North America. Our aim has been simple when it comes to this market, to provide the best possible entertainment experience to the players, while giving our operators the games and tools needed to stay ahead.

He also told reporters that the new studio was built, in part, thanks to the strong demand that the software provider has seen in the state. It also aims to give the company room to expand in the future – and it’s clear that they have big aspirations for the US live casino market in the following years.

Claesson also revealed that more casino table games will be released in the coming weeks and months, and the company also continues to hire new staff to expand their team. This team appears to be specific to North America and is separate to the company’s operations in Europe.

Promising Financials

In October 2022, Evolution Gaming reported its financial results for the third quarter of the year. Up until the period ending 30th September, the online gambling provider posted total revenues amounting to $379.1 million. This represents a huge 37.1% increase over the previous year’s Q3 postings.

In addition, the software provider also delivered EBITDA of $261.4 million, which is an increase of 35.3%, corresponding to a margin of 69%.

While Evolution Gaming wasn’t the first game developer to enter in the live iGaming industry, they are now known as the biggest. They knocked NetEnt off the top-spot many years ago, and while they have some competitors – including Pragmatic Play and Authentic Gaming – so far, no company has been able to dominate the market as they have.

Their games are built to an exceptionally high standard, most of their casino table games feature three different camera angles, and their games offer full HD camera resolutions, easily outdoing similar products from some other competitors.
