It has been revealed that the Las Vegas Strip is set to welcome an exciting addition this summer as The Venetian Las Vegas announces the grand opening of its huge poker room.

Once open, this will be the largest poker room on the Las Vegas Strip. The move marks a milestone for the famous casino resort, adding to its appeal and exciting gaming scene.

Scheduled for launch this summer, The Venetian’s new poker room will boast a range of benefits for players. It is relocating from its current spot on the main casino floor adjacent to the sportsbook to the second level of the Grand Canal Shoppes.

This relocation not only enhances the overall layout of the casino floor but also means exciting possibilities for future developments within the space.

A Range of Offerings for Poker Players

Poker enthusiasts can look forward to a variety of offerings in the new venue. There will be cash games and the venue will host the DeepStack poker tournament series. Positioned near The Palazzo within the Grand Canal Shoppes, accessibility to the poker room will be convenient, particularly for those using The Palazzo’s parking garage and valet services.

The Venetian’s poker room will be the largest on the Vegas Strip, boasting an impressive 50 tables spread across a 14,000-square-foot area. The room will also come with upgraded seating to ensure player comfort and convenience. Each seat will offer USB and USB-C charging ports, catering to the modern-day needs of tech-savvy players.

Among its innovative features, the new poker room will include a dedicated streaming room, providing visitors with the opportunity to vlog directly from the premises. The space will also enable live streaming of tournament final tables and cash games, enhancing the overall gaming experience for players and viewers alike.

Talking about the new poker room, The Venetian’s Tommy LaRosa said:

It’s going to be modern, it’s going to be clean, and it’s just going to be unique. It’s going to be a one-of-a-kind space.

It is reported that the poker room will feature amenities such as TVs throughout the space, allowing sports bettors to place wagers via William Hill kiosks. Guests can also check their Venetian Rewards status at designated kiosks while enjoying refreshments from a self-serve soda fountain and coffee station. For added convenience, players will have access to a private restroom within the poker room.

Despite the introduction of self-parking fees, The Venetian offers complimentary parking options for poker enthusiasts. Nevada residents can benefit from three hours of free parking by scanning their driver’s license, while poker players who engage in three hours or more of tournament or cash game play qualify for complimentary self-parking.

The Makeover Continues

The Venetian is undergoing an ambitious $1 billion makeover initiative, led by Apollo Global Management. The poker room addition marks the latest enhancement to the property’s gaming offerings.

With ongoing upgrades to its sportsbook, high-limit gaming lounge, and loyalty program, The Venetian remains committed to improving the overall guest experience while sealing its reputation as a premier destination on the Las Vegas Strip.
