Online gambling is becoming increasingly popular in the U.S. and global companies are competing for a share of this lucrative industry.

On Tuesday, the 22nd of October, Red Rake Gaming, a leading online casino content supplier announced on its website that is has entered into a social casino agreement with U.S.-based Wind Creek Hospitality. The latter is the gambling and hospitality arm of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, based in Alabama.

Wind Creek Casino has many gambling venues in Alabama, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Curacao, and Aruba, and recently, bought over the Sands Bethlehem Casino in a $1.3 billion deal.

The Terms of the Deal

With this new deal, the Spain and Malta-based casino games supplier, Red Rake will make its first entry into the U.S. social gambling vertical and grow the reachability of its content in the country. It is the company’s first foray into the social casino sector.

On the other hand, Wind Creek Hospitality will gain access to Red Rake’s complete gaming portfolio, which includes slots, table games, and video bingo. Since the titles are expected to be added over the course of the coming weeks, players logging in to the social gambling venue – WindCreekCasino.com, can expect a richer gambling experience pretty soon.

The Official Verdict

Ron Nesbitt, the Vice President of Game Operations at Wind Creek Hospitality, said that their social gambling site provides their customers with an engaging and interactive experience, which has thus far proven to be an excellent customer retention tool through the years.

Regarding the new deal, Nesbitt added they are

delighted to enhance our offering with the addition of Red Rake Gaming content. The games provided are powerful with high-quality graphics, action-packed feature games, and immersive bonus rounds. Combined with our top-notch rewards program, Red Rake’s game offerings will help us ensure a fantastic player experience.

Nick Barr, the Managing Director of Red Rake Malta, remarked that they are

honored

to collaborate with Wind Creek in the social casino industry. He said that the new deal is a significant step for the company because of two factors.

The first being that it is their first foray into the social casino market as a B2B entity, and secondly, that is the foundation of what they expect to be another great regulated market in terms of real money. Barr concluded by saying they anticipate a great partnership with Wind Creek for years to come.

This change is one of several for the Spanish online casino supplier, which recently relocated a considerable portion of its business to Malta after acquiring an MGA gaming license from the regional gambling regulator.

More of Wind Creek’s Social Casino

Following its acquisition of a majority share of C2Rewards, a social gambling platform, in 2014, Wind Creek made public its plans to foray into the social gaming industry. Through this transaction, Engage Innovation came into being, which is an entity that is responsible for developing and marketing the C2Rewards platform.

Now, with the Red Rake social casino deal, the website will feature even more quality content. In addition to a varied list of games, the site provides players with tournament options as well. It takes new players only a few minutes to register for an account, which enables them to start gaming.

Through the Red Rake Gaming partnership, it is speculated that Wind Creek might foray into real money gaming somewhere down the line. If and when this will come to fruition remains to be seen.
