The third annual Poker Masters series is here, and it promises to be much more entertaining than the previous two series. The event is set to be bigger, better, and more exciting, with more events, more games, easier accessibility, and more players than the previous seasons.

What to expect

Poker Central has finally released the series schedule for the annual Poker Masters 2019 series. Kicking off on November 4th and going all the way up to November 14th, the 2019 Poker Masters series will include ten events, starting with a $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em and ending with a $100,000 No-Limit Hold’em event.

While the No-Limit Hold’em event is the most popular poker game/event, other equally sought-after formats will be hosted at the event. These new formats include Pot-Limit Omaha, 8-Game, Short Deck, and Big bet – each for $10,000. The 8-Game and Big Bet will feature a mix of NLH, PLO, and 2-7 single draw. Short Deck and PLO are accessible at $10,000 this year (last year they were accessible at $25,000).

The stakes

The player who accumulates the top points during the series will be crowned the Poker Masters Champion. But that’s not all. The winner also receives the highly coveted and envied Purple Jacket and a $100,000 cash prize.

Prizes will also be awarded to top performers who consistently grind the ARIA high rollers during the 2019 season. Prizes will also include rake-free entries into all the 2020 ARIA high roller events. The five top pointers will get seats to the Super High Roller Bowl that will be held in Las Vegas.
Poker Central says more prizes may be revealed soon.

The Poker Masters series attracts some of the world’s best poker players as well as several wealthy players who get a chance to test their skills against the pros.

Last season’s winners

Last season’s winner Ali Imsirovic won the Purple Jacket after he won $25,000 and 450,000 No-Limit Hold’em events, as well as finishing eighth place in the $10,000 NLH tournament, taking his winnings to $1,288,000. However, the highest earnings belonged to David Peters in the 2018 Poker Masters, where he earned $1,343,200. With more players expected this year, there will be an increase in the payouts as well.

To motivate players to register on time for the events, Poker Central will waive the rake for all players making it to the registration booth by noon. An eliminated player can reenter and have another go at victory for a second time, per event, excluding the main event that only offers single entry.

The format

Each of the events will take place over two days. The final table will be reached at the end of Day 1, and the second day will be streamed with cards-up coverage. Watch all the action on PokerGo.

The finale

The star attraction of the entire series – the $100,000 No-Limit Hold’em game is scheduled for November 13th and will see the biggest names in poker at the event.

Each tournament in the 2019 series will be hosted by the PokerGo Studio.
